Archive & Document Center Project

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Custom Projects

Project Details

World of Shelves completed an integrated archive and document center project for an organization responsible for records and document management. The objective was to create a secure, organized, and high-capacity archival environment within a limited floor area.

The project began with a detailed assessment of the available space, document volume, classification system, retrieval process, and safety requirements. Based on this analysis, a high-density mobile shelving solution was engineered to reduce the number of fixed aisles and maximize usable storage capacity.

The scope included the supply and installation of mobile bases and tracks, steel shelving units, manual or mechanical operating systems, movement handles, locking mechanisms, anti-trap safety features, and section identification holders.

The archive units were arranged to support clear document classification and efficient access. Only one working aisle is opened when required, while the remaining units stay compacted to minimize unused floor space.

The completed project significantly increased archival capacity, improved file organization, reduced document retrieval time, enhanced record protection, and created a professional storage environment capable of supporting future expansion and reconfiguration.
